Description: A very pointless photo that couldn’t even be used as advertisement, poorly lit and taken on a very old camera
This isn’t the daily photo either. If it was then time travel would be possible because it was taken in the late 1970s… by my Grandfather. It shows a communist carnival/parade celebrating the various firms operating in Kaunas during the Russian Soviet occupation in Lithuania. So not the happiest of times but still a great image giving a snapshot of life in the USSR. I have a very large collection of photos very similar to these, not in an album or anything but just in a bag, original prints from a range of ZENIT cameras and 50mm lenses.
